Die Fledermaus, the most Viennese of all operettas, deserves to be enjoyed not only at New Year's Eve, but throughout the year. No other work has been performed more often at the Volksoper. This season Sebastian Reinthaller sings Eisenstein, opposite Ulrike Steinsky as Rosalinde. Ben Connor portrays Falke, Eisenstein’s friend, who sets the plot in motion. Wallis Giunta appears as Prince Orlofsky, Elisabeth Schwarz sings Adele, and Stefanie Reinsperger is Frosch, the jailer. Alfred Eschwé conducts.
